DeSelms is a smaller guard, who has a good understanding and solid fundamentals in her basketball repertoire. She makes thoughtful decisions and has an unselfish demeanor about her. DeSelms manifests a fluidity in her gameplay, moving the ball and moving without the ball. Her shooting mechanics are solid, paired with a jumper that holds promise. Moreover, her ball-handling skills are passably effective, contributing to her overall court play. However, there is room for better assertiveness and confidence, which could elevate her game to a higher level.
