Thomas is a left-handed combo-guard with an advanced offensive skill set. She is fast in transition and can finish at the basket with either hand. Her ability to hesitate and then burst past her opponents make her a threat to score anytime she has the ball in her hands. She shoots the 3-point shot with consistency. She can hit the open jumper on the spot up or off the dribble. This makes her a tough cover for defenders who try to prepare against her basket attack. On the defensive end, she shows great instincts as to how to time steals and to block shots. Thomas appears to be most comfortable creating shots for herself at this moment in her development. As she climbs the ranks of competition on elite circuits, she will need to learn how to manipulate help-side defenders to deliver on target passes for easy scoring opportunities for her teammates. All in all, Thomas is on a positive trajectory to be a high-profile recruit in the American Northwest.
