EVALUATION – College Season - Feb. 27, 2017
Coffey is averaging a double-double with 19.5 points, 10.6 rebounds per through 27 games. She’s only shooting at a 42 percent clip from the field and 29 percent from beyond the arc. Both of those are areas for improvement as she heads for the pro ranks this summer. In theory, her percentages will rise as a byproduct of seeing less double teams and gimmick defenses as Coffey far and away leads Northwestern in points and rebounds. That said, she might be best suited as a fourth ball handler at least early in her career as she expands the consistency on her outside shot.
