McCoy is a 5'2 guard in the 2018 class with a shifty ball-handling skillset and great facilitator on the perimeter and in the lane. In the skillwork setting, she showed an assortment of ball skills including a step back 3-pointer, runner in the lane paired with a spin move and strong combo ball-handling moves. Her dribble moves and footwork were impressive and it was obvious she puts a lot of effort in to protect her craft on the floor. Going forward, where McCoy can look to improve is on her decision making when she gets around the basket. At times she over dribbled and it took her too far into the lane without a plan. Her IQ is high enough where she doesn't need to force plays, but allow them to develop and use her ball-handling to shift defenses for scoring opportunities for herself and teammates. Overall, McCoy has strong ball skills and it is a fun enviroment to watch her create and develop offensively on the floor.
