Willis, 5'8 guard in the 2019 class. What immeditately stood out about her was her midrange game because it is not a part of the game that is focused on as much as it should be and it was impressive to see her comfort in that setting. When she found the soft spot in the defense during transition and in the half court, she really showed good balance and feel into her release. Her decision-making offensively was in tune and she plays with a high IQ with her shot selection. She also showed she can knock down the 1-2 step 3-ball and is really effective when she doesn't hesitate. Defensively, she is solid defending the on-ball, but where she can be more dynamic is using her physicality to be a more effective guard rebounder. She has the capabilities of getting those logo rebounds and pushing pace in transition with a little more positioning. Overall, Willis shows good pace, solid ball-handling, and a scorers feel on offensive. Continuing to develop range consistency and strength attacking the lane will be keys going into the next year.
