Aumer is a guard with great size and the ability to turn the corner on defenders with the drive. She possesses the shift and wiggle to shake her opponent. Much is this aided by her footwork and decisiveness with the ball in her hands. Aumer also showed promise with her jumper with a smooth release from distance. The key for the junior guard’s development over the next 12 months will be finding patience and pace in her game. While being in attack mode often leads to good things, learning when to pull back and let the game come to her will make her more efficient. – Coach Hemi
Aumer is a confident guard who likes the up-tempo style. Her confidence and willingness to lead set her apart in this setting. She provided a vocal defensive presence on the court. She showed herself to be a threat to score off the dribble and a threat to score in transition. We would like to see more of that confidence rub off on her jump shot. She did not pull the trigger much in 5v5 competition while we watched.
Aumer has been with us each year in the twin cities and this year she showed her biggest jump in development to date. She’s grown considerably and her confidence and strength with the ball have shown significant gains. She brought good energy to the floor, was willing to chase down loose balls and make hustle plays. With the physical growth now comes the adjustment period. Getting her feet set quicker and elevating her shot pocket would allow her to get more shots off against better competition. She can make shots so tightening up these little things can make her a bigger impact player going into her freshman year.

Aumer is 5'6 guard that has grown in size and length since we last saw her. Her confidence in facilitating and driving to the basket has improved this past year and is really starting to take shape for her. One of the best assets Aumer has over most other players is her mentality to hustle after loose balls and urgency to get in the mix for rebounds. That urgency is felt in a variety of settings and is a skill that is starting to translate to more scoring opportunities for her at the rim. Continuing to develop ball control is where she can take the biggest strides going into the new year. Adding more depth to her ball handling will make everything she see's on the floor with her court vision a lot easier to execute because all the tools will be in place. Overall, Aumer improves every year and is not afraid to take risks.

Aumer is a long and lengthy class of 2022 athlete who physically looks to still have a lot of growth in her. Her footwork and coordination as an athlete is developing, and she has good lateral speed to her game. She possesses an above average skill set and has a strong handle and keeps the ball on a string. She has a smooth outside jumper, fundamental mechanics and follows through on her shot. She displays a budding basketball intelligence and has great awareness and good court vision. She seems to have a strong desire for the game and hunger to get better. She makes good eye contact with her coaches, very observant and good listening skills. She is a very coachable player. Moving forward, Aumer will benefit from a strong work ethic and patience in her development. She tends to try and tackle every task at hand all at once. She needs to recognize she has a long journey ahead and embrace the process. Aumer is a player to continue to watch develop and has the upside to be in the conversation over the next few years.
