Steele made an impression immediately with her focus and work ethic early in the camp. She showed she can master the skills that were being taught within the drills. When it came to game play, Steele made the biggest impact with her jump shooting ability. She hit several jumpers from the perimeter and even used her size to score over defenders in the lane. Steele has ball handling ability and can give secondary handling help when a point guard is double-teamed or pressured. What she will need to focus on in the future is getting more confident with her weak hand when handling. She seemed much more comfortable attacking with her strong hand. Getting her weak hand polished will allow her to become a more complete offensive player.
