This was my first chance to review film on Irons game. Her calling card is that she makes positive plays happen on both ends of the floor. Irons is willing to push the tempo with the basketball in her hands, shoot the open 3-pointer and find teammates off the bounce. She has legitimate shooting range out to the 24-foot mark. Irons is a prospect whose skill set allows her to play bigger than her actual physical stature. On the defensive end of the floor, Irons is a workhorse. She is more than willing to draw tough assignments and make life hard for opposing guards. During the winter, she plays in the toughest classification of school ball in Nebraska. That hasn’t stopped Irons from shining bright. Irons is already the school record holder in multiple categories: 3-pointers made in a game – seven, steals in a game – nine, field goals made in a game – 11. She’ll continue to add muscle to her frame in time but the skill set is crisp. – Brandon Clay / @BrandonClayPSB
