For the second year in a row, our staff had the opportunity to see and work with James at our Midwest stop, and she did not disappoint with the progress she's made in her basketball skill set. Her jumper is smooth and clean, and she consistently connected from multiple spots on the floor, ranging from midrange to deep beyond the arc. James also excels at making plays off the dribble and thrives in space and pace situations. She is extremely athletic, quick, and works hard, bringing a tough defensive presence. Despite being a smaller guard, she grabs an impressive number of rebounds, often elevating over taller players. As her game continues to develop at this pace, I'd love to see her take on a bigger leadership role, learning to delegate and make those around her better.
