Ellie is a guard with a consistent jumper from range. Her release is consistent, quick and good looking. She proved that she could hit the open jumper in our spotlight workouts before the camp and then showed she could hit shots off the move as well. Her ball handling is solid as well. She showed confidence in her left hand to find open shooters on the perimeter. She also used an effective change of pace to create space in between her and the defense on the perimeter. We would like to see her score and create for others with the dribble in future evaluations. —Coach Hemi
From Brandon Clay's Spotlight Workout
Magestro-Kennedy is a slightly smaller guard with good skill and footwork. She was locked in from the moment we got started not afraid to assert herself in the drills or competition making reads and shots alike. Magestro-Kennedy has the skill to play a combo role though long term she might be best suited to play the point as her primary position. Her physical strength will be a big factor in her next level production.
