| Tamez is a floor general and point guard on the court that is looked to for command and poise running the offense. She has improved every outing that we’ve seen her and consistently is putting in the work to improve her craft. She has a strong approach to the game and is maturing in her decision-making and assertiveness on the floor. She is facilitator first, but her being capable of knocking down the 3-ball is key for her effectiveness on the floor. She also brings a lot of energy and positivity that infuses energy into her team. Going forward, Tamez can look to improve her foot speed defensively, so she is more effective defending top tier talent. Overall, she continues to improve and is a true student of the game with a strong approach of getting better each day. |
| Tamez has grown tremendously since we saw her last August. Her game is more assertive and she is showing more command on the court. Focusing on becoming a consistent floor general will be key for her as that is the direction of where her game is going. Going forward, strength and her mid-range game will need to be a constant area of focus for her. Adding those two components will make her more dynamic in transition and off the ball screen in the half court. Overall, Tamez continues to improve her court presence and is on her way to bringing more leadership to the floor. |
