| Atchison is a 5'5 point guard in the 2018 class that might have had the quickest first step in the whole showcase. She is very shifty with the ball in her hands and really had no problem getting to the basket and straightline driving defenders. She showed great energy, strong floor leadership, and no problem facilitating the offense with strong command. She uses a behind the back snap dribble to gain balance and uses her shift to create better scoring opportunities herself and for her teammates. Going forward, Atchison can look to improve her effectiveness off the bounce and focus on her midrange game. She had some plays where she came off on-ball screens and needs to develop the mentaility to knock down the jumper when she sees daylight. Overall, she has a lot of energy and passion to her play and it bodes well for her impact on the floor. |
