Thompson is a left-handed guard with a growing physical frame and fundamentals to match. She displayed her soft touch during shooting drills at this camp. Add in her ability to soak up information and apply it to game situations and Thompson is ready to take the next step in her development. Becoming more confident and comfortable in her right hand when passing is an area where she can grow.
Thompson is a left-handed guard with much talent and athleticism. Her skills lead us to have much optimism about her game as she matures into the player that she is soon to become. She has a solid jump shot and is a capable ball handler already. The bounce that she has in her legs and her instincts on the court make our staff believe that she will become a very good defender. One specific skill that Thompson can work to improve is eliminating the dip in her shot. Eliminating this one action could help her become a more consistent shooter. -- Coach Hemi
