McClain possesses a solid athletic frame, strong body, and as a 5’9 wing, is versatile enough to play multiple positions. She is a very physical player that is a great cutter and slasher to the rim and rebounds the ball tremendously well. She plays both ends of the floor with a high motor, effective activity and energy. She can defend multiple positions from guards, wings to bigger forwards. She’s great in the midrange area, knocking down 15ft jumpers or attacking the rim. Where she can look to improve is in her range on the perimeter and a go to move off the bounce. Adding a little more depth to those two categories will bring a tremendous amount of added value to her game. Overall, her presence is really known in a lot of categories on the floor because of her physicality, strength, and effort level. Only in the 2018 class, she is impressive.
