I’ve had the chance to evaluate Johnson on multiple occasions over the past 12 months. She’s a competitive option in the backcourt capable of playing either guard position. Johnson is a Swiss Army Knife in that regard. She does a little of everything at the guard spot. Johnson brings a presence to a roster that extends to both ends of the hardwood. She will compete on defense and isn’t afraid to mix it up in the paint despite her guard positional status. That competitive nature serves Johnson well from a productivity standpoint and makes her a valuable piece to a roster at the same time. She’ll suit up for a Pike High School program that is amongst the best in the Hoosier State. Johnson’s long-term success will be tied in large part to her ability to make the open 3-point shot at a 34 percent or higher percentage. She has the tools to be a quality prospect throughout the duration of her school career into college. – Brandon Clay / @BrandonClayPSB
