This was my first chance to breakdown film on Elkins game. Even as a sixth-grade prospect, Elkins is showcasing an ability to space the floor with her outside shooting. She can shoot with range out beyond the 3-point line whether from the top of the key or from the corner. Elkins is also comfortable hitting the pullup jumper off the dribble already too. At the Point Guard position, she also finds open teammates off the Pick and Roll action. Her physical maturation over time will be worth tracking. Elkins has already played a quality amount of high-level club basketball before her middle school days even began. She has a polished skill age given her age. I fully expect that to keep being a staple of her game moving forward. Elkins is the type of prospect who will continue to hunt opportunities to play against and train with top competition. – Brandon Clay / @BrandonClayPSB
