This was my first time getting a chance to press play on Morris’ film. She’s a bigger guard at this age with another year of middle school still left to go. Morris can shoot the open 3-pointer off the drive and kick. In an evaluation that was full of high school aged prospects, Morris was able to make shots time and time again with her feet set. Offensively, Morris was also impactful attacking to her right hand and finishing. Those two skills jump right out as plus categories for her in relation to her peers right now. It’s hard to find young guards who can consistently get to the rim and space the floor with the jumper. Morris can do both. Keep an eye on Morris’ development using her left hand to handle the basketball in the halfcourt and finishing around the basket. That will be the next step for growth based on what I watched from her so far. – Brandon Clay / @BrandonClayPSB
