If Hjelmstad gets a smaller matchup, she can post. If she gets a bigger matchup, she has real range to 23 feet. That versatility makes her such a difficult matchup for opposing teams. Hjelmstad has elite size at her position. She can and should assert herself as a primary playmaker early and often during games. -- Brandon Clay
Hjemstad is a perfect fit for the modern day era. She has forward height and size but traditional guard shooting range and skill. Hjelmstad was fantastic inside her home state showing the ability to get buckets against some of the best the Sooner State has to offer. Her 23 foot jumper looks like a layup. Holding her followthrough is key to taking the next step in her range development. -- Brandon Clay
Hjelmstad is a capable scorer on the perimeter. Her shot looks the same off the bounce or off the catch. Hjelmstad's skill level gives her a leg up on most of the versatile wing forward options in the class regionally. She has the size to play either wing position.
