Neal-Tysor is a super skilled point guard who can dribble, pass, shoot as well as any kid in the building during EBA Top 40. There are some guards that are specialists in one of those areas and not as strong in the other two, but Amoria seemed to be proficient in all three. She hit 3s from deep while also demonstrating that she can take the ball to the hoop with confidence. Her vocal leadership gives her the intangibles needed to be a solid point guard at the next level. There were times she tried to make the play herself rather than make the extra pass to an open teammate. This could be a function of playing in a camp setting with unfamiliar players. This will be an area we watch closer during the travel season.
Neal-Tyson is a slashing point guard who showed good overall skill in this camp. Her jumper was solid and she proved to be very effective in transition. Her quick first step helps her create plays going down hill. It is her vocal leadership that gives her the ability to handle the point guard spot at high levels. As good as her first step is, she still has room to grow attacking with her weak hand. As she becomes a threat to score going both directions, Neal-Tyson can become a complete offensive threat.
