Poegel is a young guard with size and shooting ability. She showed consistency on her jumper with her feet set. Yet when she had to put the ball on the floor she displayed a solid crossover dribble moving either direction. When working in one-on-one situations, she is a threat to score at the basket. Poegel is more than just a spot shooter or a player who looks to score. She will set up teammates when she gets into the lane and draws the help towards her. The area where she can improve is on the defensive end. Particularly when she is defending off of the ball, maintaining vision to anticipate the action quicker is where Poegel could make an impact.
