Jocie Otter is a point guard who plays with a physical edge that belies her frame. Otter does not let her stature on the perimeter dictate how she competes, attacking downhill at every opportunity and embracing contact rather than shying from it. Her first step gets her into the lane quickly, and she sets up defenders with a patient jab series before committing to her drive, keeping her dribble under control even when bodies close in around her. She battles through fatigue and physical play without her effort dipping, and she responds to adversity with the same competitive fire possession after possession. The next step in her development is adding the length and strength that will allow her to finish through traffic and defend bigger guards as she advances in competition level.
