Simply put, Thompson is a worker. She was in the gym with us on a Friday night just before her first regular season game tips off next week. This was our third session with her since the start of July. Thompson has the ability to be a shotmaker from the outside but also possesses the talent to unlock the ability to use pick and roll actions to create for herself. She can continue to build on her offensive footwork with the inside plant foot off the move. -- Brandon Clay
Thompson is a shot maker on the perimeter. She's got good length on the wing with a solid handle based on what she showed here in Chicago. Thompson can serve as a knockdown corner 3-point shooter as well. As she gets stronger physically, Thompson will only improve from here. -- Brandon Clay
