I’ve had the chance to evaluate Girias play on a consistent basis since she was in middle school. My latest chance to breakdown her game on film shows the progress at the guard spot that I wanted to see from her over a 12-month cycle. She’s pushing the game tempo with the basketball in her hands but not rushing to make poor decisions. Very few prospects can be successful at the college level if they’re averaging less than a 2 to 1 assist-to-turnover ratio at this age. Girias patience in decision making has her trending in the right direction in that regard. She’s shooting the basketball well from the perimeter. Girias will be a prospect I’d be aiming to shoot at least between 33 and 37 percent from 3-point range early in her career at the college level. Those numbers will be towards the top of any league in America and help her keep the floor spaced offensively for her frontcourt teammates to have one on one chances to score in the paint. Girias had a banner sophomore school season averaging 19.6 points and 4.8 assists per game en route to finishing as a First Team All-NPSL selection. On the defensive end of the floor, Girias is making an impact on the basketball as well averaging 4.2 rebounds and 3.6 steals per game as a sophomore. Look for Girias to keep maturing with her physical stature as she has the last year plus. She's the type of prospect who is willing to do the things away from the basketball floor to be in elite condition when it's time to perform. – Brandon Clay / @BrandonClayPSB
Girias is no stranger to the West Coast contigent of our staff. This was my first time getting to work with her. She is both a playmaker off the bounce and a shotmaker from the perimeter. Girias plays with a pace and tempo that allows her to be impactful on both ends of the hardwood. As an eighth grader, Girias is already ahead of the pack with her energy level. Continuing to be vocal especially on defense will only enhance her overall production as she prepares to enter high school. -- Brandon Clay
Girias showcases exceptional talent and skills as a guard, surpassing her age. Her agility and excellent ball-handling allow her to navigate the court with ease, enabling her to both penetrate to the rim and distribute the ball effectively. She is adept at finishing in traffic and displays creativity in her playmaking, making her a well-rounded offensive threat. With a reliable catch-and-shoot ability, she contributes to scoring opportunities from the perimeter. Her initiative and leadership qualities stand out, along with her solid understanding of the game and strategic approach.
