Cleaveland used the spring / summer to reintroduce herself to colleges up and down the East Coast. She added multiple offers while showing the shooting range and versatility needed to project one of the region's premier forwards in the junior class. Cleaveland's inside / outside ability translates to both ends of the floor. As her right hand dribbling keeps imroving so will her offensive skill set. -- Brandon Clay
Cleaveland's performance here was one for the books. Less than 24 hours after scoring 15 points to win the first GHSA State Championship for Jason Taylor's River Ridge program, Cleaveland was back on the floor doing what she does. She played so well on Friday night that she actually received a scholarship offer from Georgia Southern while she was at the Elite 100 on Saturday afternoon. Cleaveland's ability to shoot the outside jumper is a separator. So is her willingness to play inside / outside to find and create mismatches on the floor. As Cleaveland learns to hunt those inside each possession, her production will only increase. -- Brandon Clay
Cleaveland has had an elite high school season for Jason Taylor's River Ridge program. Our own Vince Smith saw her go for 30 points in a game earlier this year. I watched Cleaveland go for 17 points and nine rebounds in the Elite Eight this past week. Her biggest asset is her willingness to do whatever is necessary to get the win. With River Ridge up 20 late in the game, Cleaveland made a play where she dove for the loose ball rebound, saved it to a teammate who then assisted on a basket. Moments later, Cleaveland chased down the opposing ball handler for a steal. Her effort is relentless. That alone is going to translate at an elite level with the Southeast All Stars on the club circuit. Offensively, Cleaveland can score on the inside or hit the open jumper with range to the 3-point line. She's a projected Summer Stock Riser on my Big Board. -- Brandon Clay
