Evans, a lefty guard, brings a dynamic to the court as a combo guard. Her strong build gives her a significant advantage, allowing her to hold her own against more physical opponents. Offensively, she possesses a dual threat: she can stretch the floor with her ability to shoot from range, and she can also effectively penetrate and pull up for a midrange jumper.
When defenders rush to contest her shot, Evans has the skill to exploit the closeout, driving past them. This not only showcases her adaptability in offensive situations but also keeps her defenders constantly guessing, making her a challenging assignment for opponents.
Defensively, Evans stands out on the perimeter. Her lateral quickness and understanding of opponents' tendencies enable her to stay in front of her matchup and disrupt offensive plays.
While her long-range shooting already poses a threat, there's room for further consistency. As she refines her shooting touch and becomes more consistent from beyond the arc, she will undoubtedly become an even more potent offensive player.
Evans is a smooth left-handed option who can be productive playing off of the pick and roll. She has the footwork to get down hill to make a play around the rim. In that regard, Evans can continue to work on her speed to improve her ability to get into the lane. -- Brandon Clay
