Frankel has been in the gym with our staff on multiple occasions in multiple regions of the country. When I pull out the MacBook and really breakdown what she is doing, Frankel is showing real growth in the mechanics of her shot. Her right wrist snaps on almost every shot. She is also showing a consistent, clean followthrough on her shot as well. Frankel will mature in college with weights and time but for now spacing the floor is a key component to her offensive production. Covering ground off the dribble will allow Frankel to maximize her game when defenders close out quickly on the 3-pointer. -- Brandon Clay / @BrandonClayPSB
Frankel has shown multiple times this year that she is more than capable of serving as a shot maker from outside the arc. Even her missed shots look clean and are on target. Frankel's ability to keep the floor spaced is a specialty that separates her from most in her class inside Arizona. Frankel has also shown the dedication to get it done in the classroom and with extra floor time on her game. As she keeps working on the footwork on her one dribble jumper, expect even more production from her game as a result. -- Brandon Clay
Frankel has the skill set to be a specialist from beyond the 3-point line at the college level. She is both an efficient and effective option in that regard. In person, her mechanics are in an even starting place than it comes across as on film. For Frankel, becoming more vocal on the floor to convey what she's seeing is the next step in her growth. -- Brandon Clay
Frankel has legitimate college length on the wing already even if she doesn’t grow another inch. She can shoot the open 3-pointer and is an ideal fit on the offensive end playing alongside multiple creators off the bounce. Defensively, her length and IQ should let her guard / switch multiple positions on the perimeter. In the modern game, that versatility and shot making is hard to come by. -- Brandon Clay
Frankel gives you some length at the wing, ability to shoot the ball from range and handle the ball in the backcourt. She is somewhat unassuming and quietly productive with her offensive efficiency. Frankel is comfortable with what she is good at and doesn’t force things she isn’t ready to do yet. She shows great poise and solid decision making ability. She can improve with being more assertive, which I think will come as she gets stronger and more comfortable with the physicality of the game.
