Wiesner possesses versatility as a guard, comfortably changing between on-ball and off-ball roles. With good shooting acumen, she connects from range, executes mid-range jumpers, and likes to use a runner in the paint. This diversified offensive toolkit makes her a multi-threat presence on the court. In terms of defense, an area poised for improvement is her ability to counter quicker perimeter players. However, Wiesner demonstrates an openness to improvement, readily embracing instruction and actively seeking guidance.
Wiesner is a tremendous outside shooter, solid form, and mechanics. She will get more lift and elevation with time, age and maturity but she is already pretty consistent from outside. She possesses a nice little floater that is reliable when she gets into the paint. We’d like to see her more assertive. She has the skill set, but can be more confident with it. She can continue to work on her defensive footwork and agility.
Wiesner is an energetic player that brings a lot of positive energy. She is a confident player that looks to score. Her shot mechanics look solid and her consistency from range should improve with physical maturity and growth. She is a good communicator and talks on the floor.
