HOOVER, Alabama – The Under Armour Association event was loaded with familiar faces currently enrolled in our Brandon Clay Recruiting members and Brandon Clay Training participants. Here’s a look back at some of the players on hand who caught our eye:
Playing for a new roster this year with Team B Wright, Martin is a solid guard off the ball. Coming off of a fantastic sophomore season for Woodstock High, she’s capable of playing in an uptempo style or in a halfcourt situation if need be as well. Expect Martin to continue finding consistency in her game both offensively and defensively as the club season turns to summer time.
Meulemans fits right in on a team with a Wisconsin Flight Elite backcourt full of high level Division One prospects. The now 6-foot guard defends, makes shots and has developed right on schedule with our initial evaluations over three years ago. Most importantly, Meulemans is a player who will be a star both on and off the floor in the classroom too. She flew into Alabama after midnight on Friday morning fresh off of a First Team All-Conference Cross Country finish the day before.

LIST
A fantastic scoring option, Ouimette is both a driver off of the bounce as well as a candidate shoot the open jumpshot out beyond the 3-point line for Wisconsin Flight Elite. Like Meulemans, Ouimette actually passes up what are quality ball reversal corner 3’s at times for a prospect who could potentially shoot in the high 30’s, low 40’s at the next level.
Unfortunately our staff did not get to watch Sterling with her Indiana Flight team as they had a medical emergency that forced them to miss their scheduled game on Friday. That said, we full expect for Sterling to show that she is capable of playing in the backcourt guard skill wise mixed with the ability to rebound her position from the wing consistently against the best competition that the UAA circuit has to offer.
AROUND THE RIM
The Bay State Jaguars program is full of kids who trained with us in New Jersey and Rhode Island alike over the past six months. They play the game the right way always looking for the next pass. The future is bright with prospects like Kaelyn Carroll, Mackenzie Hohulin and Jessie Silk on board.
Wisconsin Flight has a whole slew of former Brandon Clay Academy members playing at an extremely high level. Class of 2022 prospects Lily Hansford, Lily Krahn and Emily LaChapell are all making major waves against some of the best competition in the country.
Texas U has been on our radar for years and broke out during the Brandon Clay Summer Invite in 2019. They’ve got multiple prospects making the trip over to Austin to train with us next weekend including Jordyn DeVaughn.
Michigan Storm leveled up during the latter part of the last decade and appear poised to keep it rolling well into this current one. Having elite prospects like Class of 2024 guard Summer and Indya Davis only helps aid the cause. Those two were fantastic at the Chicago Academy last June.
Example Sports has made a huge ascent on the national scene over the past two years. Skilled players including Class of 2022 point guard Aaliyah Smith are a major reason why. Smith has been in the gym with our staff on multiple occasions and will be again this summer.
