Clarkson is a point guard with leadership and ball handling skills. She showed herself to be capable of handling the ball adeptly with either hand while also being quick enough to get downhill when there was a crease in the defense. Her willingness to be vocal and speak up during drills caught our attention as well. Continuing to hone her craft and proving her skills against elite competition will be the next step for Clarkson on her journey in the game.

Having tracked Clarkson’s recruiting process for the past several months, the foundation is obviously there for long term success. The opportunity to spend multiple days on the floor with her was a nice chance to get a closer look at what she does well. Clarkson is dialed in to teaching and executes well after being shown a drill. Inside of gameplay, she has the strength and speed to be a consistent threat on the ball at the next level. Continuing to add to her outside consistency will only help.

Clarkson is a capable scorer and passer with the ability to get downhill off of the bounce.
