Branch is a budding prospect with size, athleticism and skill. She showed versatility as a player who play along the arc or mix it up in the lane during this academy. She displayed a consistent release on her jump shot and is also capable of attacking defender’s closeouts with the drive. Her length and quickness also lead us to believe that she will become a great defender. Working on her ability to change directions with the drive will be key for her as a ball handler.
Versatility is the strength of Branch’s game. She can rub elbows with the posts in the lane or she can run with the wings in transition. Her footwork is what allows her to be so versatile. While other prospects at her size might be awkward, not Branch. She can move effectively up and down the court with or without the ball. She showed the ability to rebound and make life tough for interior scorers on the defensive end. However, she showed range on her jumper during drills that make us believe that her best days of basketball are still in front of her. Making sure she holds a high one second follow through will be key for her to be a consistent outside shooter. – Coach Hemi

Branch caught my attention with her length and athleticism. She was as dynamic in the open floor as any underclass prospect who attended the showcase. As her shooting ability rounds out, her game will keep improving with it.
