Sutton is a fundamental guard with a solid overall skill set. Her ball handling on the perimeter is tight and confident. With her jumper, she gets the ball into her shooting pocket quickly and she gets it out without any wasted motion. Her high energy attitude combined with her desire to make things happen with the dribble are qualities that most successful guards have. Learning when to attack and when to pull back and reverse the ball is the part of the game that Sutton will need to learn with experience.

Sutton is a high energy guard capable of playing both back court positions for her team. Given her size and speed, the point guard position should be the most logical spot for her to grow into over the next few years. Her jump shot is consistent. She sports a follow through that clean and straight. Sutton's ball handling ability is solid as well. She is proving that she can handle pressure and make plays in the open court. Her play-making skills are aided by her speed that allows her scoot past defenders with ease. That same athleticism allows her to be a disruptive defender who can get steals and deflections consistently. One area that Sutton will need to continue to develop is her weak attack. While she is a solid handler with her left hand, proving that she can go either direction with confidence and purpose will be a valuable asset for her.
