Dockter is a 5'6 guard in the 2023 class that has continued to show her strong feel for the game. Defensively, she moves her feet well and jumps with the pass, which is something we expected because we saw her anticipation skills last August. She had a nice steal defensively that she took coast to coast for a layup. Offensively, she will shoot the 3-ball off the bounce and it was a new element that we didn't see from last year. Working on her consistency and getting her feet set beyond the arc is an area she will continue to grow in. Her all around game has grown and adding the range element to her midrange game that she had appearances last year would give her a complete scoring attack from the guard position. Continuing to be more vocal in a point guard role and managerial with the ball in her hands will a lot her a consistent floor general role. Overall, Dockter has a lot of upside with her current ball skills, understanding of the game, and athleticism to bring it all together, which will be fun to watch over the next few years.
Dockter is a 2023 guard with a smooth feel to her game and a lot of length to work with both offensively and defensively. She showed great balance on a nice midrange jumper and had a smooth release. Her awareness was something that really stood out about her play and gives her game much upside because of her attention to detail and her approach to take calculated risks. Defensively, Dockter will get out and jump the passing lanes taking an overall optimistic and energetic approach to the defensive end. Continuing to develop her ball-handling and having consistent control in the midrange will team up nicely with her size, athleticism and anticipation skills as she continues to grow with the game.
