Hunter is a class of 2020 guard that brings a lot of speed and athleticism to the back court position. Offensively, she uses hesititation dribble at the point guard position to facilitate into her move and loves the floater. She has a quick trigger and will shoot the 3-ball off the bounce which looked confident, but she needs to develop more consistency. Defensively, she is a solid on-ball defender and is a very capable guard rebounder. With her athleticism, she can get it and go up the floor quickly with a lot of speed and force at the rim. Areas of improvement for her will be dialing in her footwork off the bounce in the midrange and pairing that with more strength to knock down the jumper. She has enough savvy and upper body movement to be a strong scorer in that area with a little more polish. Overall, Hunter is loaded with potential and was a great guard to watch this past weekend at the Check Me Out Showcase.
