Henderson has joy for the game which makes her a natural leader on the floor. Her size and athleticism are limiters to some degree but her ball skill, smarts, fearlessness and competitiveness allowed her to make more plays than most of the players that fit the prototype mold. She has breakdown ability because of her handle and court cout vision. The projections on her improvement over the next few years is high because of how she engages with coaching. Henderson is a 5'3 point guard in the 2021 class who possesses great worth ethic, coach ability and strong ball handling skills. She is very active and incredibly engaged in every situation she is thrown into. She loves to take on responsibility on the floor, attack the rim, and will look for her shot on the perimeter with time and space. As she gains more strength with time, she will be able to get her shot off quicker from beyond the arc. Going forward, continuing to develop her left hand is an area she can focus on in the next year. She loves to have the ball in her hand, and is very creative with her craft, so adding more control will give her more of an attack on the left side of the floor. Overall, Henderson is at a point in her development where she is wiling to take risks, put herself out there and go toe to toe with anyone she can in order to grow her game, which is great to see her have that approach to the game.
Henderson is 5'1 point guard that has a really good feel for that game and great ball rhythm. Only in the class of 2021, she is gritty and has a competitive feel for her game. You can tell she loves playing because she is fearless attacking the basket. As she develops more power, she will be able to convert more layups, but she has good direction on the floor and she communicates with her teammates. As she continues to develop more strength, she will have a more prominent option beyond the arc, but its good to see her have the confidence to take those shots beyond the arc. Overall, Henderson is very savvy for her age and is going to be a fun player to watch develop over the course of the next few years.
