Reed is class of 2021 guard that showed ability to jump passing lanes, strong anticipation skills and vocal communication to her teammates. Her elite guard size and length give her a competitive advantage on both ends of the floor. Offensively, she showed quality ball skills and a good understanding of change of speed change of direction with the ball. She had a clear mindset to attack the lane, so continuing to develop her left hand and believing in her midrange game will be great areas for her to grow in. Her confidence has grown in the past year since we have seen her play, but continuing to be the agressor is a quality that she can consistently posess on the floor if she commits to it.
Reed is a 5'6 young guard that has a good strength and uses her size well. She is developing her confidence on the floor and while she isn't constantly looking for her shot, she moves really well without the ball in her hands. During the showcase she showed the ability to knock down a 1-2 step 3 with a good release point. She is a guard with a lot of upside because she really understands the flow of the game. Only in the 2021 class, she has time to grow her assertiveness and become more confident in her attack.
