Schymanski is a high energy forward who gives great effort each time she hits the court. She proved to be effective scoring around the basket and handling the ball on the perimeter. The junior is also developing vocal leadership on the court. Her effort and experience give her a chance to be a productive player heading into her final year on the hardwood. One area where Schymanski could grow is in her long-range shooting. She is capable shooter in the mid-range but extending out to the arc will give her another dimension to her production.

Schymanski plays the game with passion and energy. Her game is probably better suited as a power forward right now than a full-time perimeter option. Schymanski is crafty and finds a way to make things happen.
Schymanski has done a fantastic job in recent months of polishing her skill set and becoming a more productive player. Today in camp she finished effortlessly with her off hand while also playing with energy on the defensive end. While she is still primarily a frontline player, she can hit the mid-range jumper and defend some spots on the perimeter. The next step for Schymanski to take will be to extend her range out to the 3-point arc and become a stretch-4 for her teams. Her challenge will not only be finding consistency with her range, but also balancing that with staying active on the glass.
Schymanski is a forward with size and shooting touch. She can play along the frontline and provide help for her team with rebounding and defense. Her greatest strength is her mid-range jumper where she can spot up after setting screens for her teammates. Her mobility is also improving, which should allow her to play more in an up-tempo game. Her ball handling has also seen an increase since previous evaluations. Her next challenge should be to work on maximizing her quickness and lateral explosion. This will allow her to defend more positions on the court including quicker wings.
Schymanski is a wing-forward with good size. She worked the weakside glass effectively during game play this weekend. Her mid-range jumper is the strength of her offensive game currently. Adding confidence with ball skill and lateral quickness will be areas for her to focus on during the off-season.
