Roper established herself as one of the camp's top point guards by weekend's end. The lead guard from the Memphis area is a high energy play-maker who pushes the tempo in transition. She is effective at getting into the gaps in the defense to make good things happen. Unlike ball-dominant point guards, Roper is willing to find the open teammate even in a camp setting where chemistry has yet to be developed. Most importantly Roper is a student of the game and has put hours in the gym to sharpen her skills in recent years. The final part of her game that she will need to prove is her ability to hit the 3-point jumper consistently. As it stands, Roper enters July as one of the Southeast's better lead guards.
