Carleigh Wenzel, the 5-foot-11  guard from San Antonio, Texas, has narrowed her list of schools to a final six.  The four-star prospect is on the ProspectsNation.com ELITE 60 Watch List for the class of 2022.  That ranking release is due later this month.

Wenzel is considering a list of primarily Pac-12 schools, along with an ACC and Big Ten program.   Her list includes Arizona, Arizona State, Florida State, Northwestern, Oregon and Stanford.  Arkansas, Iowa State, Utah and Virginia Tech

Wenzel is a fantastic offensive weapon given her length and deep range. Her play with the San Antonio’s Finest program has allowed her to test her game against a national caliber of opposition.

When asked about what stands out as special having coached Wenzel for years now, Ray Caldwell of the SA Finest said, “ She attacks her weaknesses every day.”

As for her timeline, Wenzel will not rush the process.  She still has designs on campus visits, though the extension of the dead period could change that possibility.
