Big Blue Madness
The start of fall means different things for different people. For some, the official start of Fall might come when Starbuck's brings out the Pumpkin Spice Latte for sale. For basketball fan's in the State of Kentucky, Fall means it is time for Big Blue Madness, a celebration of the University of Kentucky and their basketball programs. While Big Blue Madness is a celebration for the fans and an introduction to the rosters of the men's and women's programs, it has also become a banner recruiting weekend for coach Matthew Mitchell and his staff. This year Kentucky played host to an official visitor in 2018 guard Zippy Broughton who was joined by 2018 verbal commits Blair Green and Rhyne Howard. In the 2019 and 2020 classes, Kentucky played host to multiple Four-star prospects including Jayla Hemingway and Emma King in the 2019 class while Gabby Hutcherson, Sydney Parish, and Maddie Scherr represented the 2020 class.  Highly regarded freshman Azzi Fudd, a 2021 graduate, was also on campus for a visit.

Connecticut Host's Primary Targets
This weekend, Connecticut played host to the two highest rated remaining prospects in the 2018 class, Cristyn Williams, and Olivia Nelson-Ododa. Williams and Nelson-Ododa played together in Spain as members of the USA U17 National team, an event that Connecticut coach Geno Auriemma attended last summer. With former commit, Charli Collier now headed to Texas, a potential signing class of Williams and Nelson-Ododa would give Connecticut another elite recruiting class.

Other Visits

Texas Christian played host to Rokia Dumbia, Dumbia has already made trips to Arkansas, Vanderbilt, and Oklahoma.

Imani Lewis took a visit to St. John's to close out her five official visits. Wisconsin, Miami, Florida, and Minnesota were the other four.
