She Got Game In Atlanta
Ramani Parker

POWDER SPRINGS, Georgia – The She Got Game Classic once again provided a terrific cross section of teams from across the eastern region with talent coming in from as far away as Wisconsin.  Here is a look at some standout players from the Metro Atlanta area event.

In the nightcap against the host school McEachern, Class of 2019 post Ramani Parker from Montverde Academy (Fla.) made a case to be a part of the postseason all-star games. The Louisville signee was effective on both ends of the floor throughout the contest.

Just before Parker laced her sneakers up, fellow Class of 2019 post Sydnee Roby of Rufus King (WI) did everything she could to lead her team to a victory over a talented Westlake HS (GA) roster. A Miami signee, Roby used her size and touch to control the glass while converting time and time again at the rim on the offensive end.

Speaking of Westlake, they showcase two of the nation’s top Class of 2021 perimeter threats in Raven Johnson and Briana Turnage. Both are capable of scoring the ball and handling against pressure when need be as well.

Lovejoy has a dynamic Class of 2020 duo in the backcourt with Anaya Boyd and Genesis Bryant. Multiple schools from the region were on hand to see them put in work earlier in the afternoon.

McEachern provided a deeper glimpse into the class of 2021 with guard Denim DeShields. Like her older sister, Diamond, during her schools days Denim has a flair for the dramatic coupled with playmaking ability. She’s one to keep track of going forward.
