The end of the summer season means it’s rankings expansion time and the class of 2018 that means the first ELITE 100 release.
One of the biggest movers at the top of the rankings is no secret – Olivia Nelson-Ododa of Winder, Ga. Her play all spring and summer, which included a major role on the USA Basketball U17 national team, led to her rising to the No. 3 spot in the class.
The top two spots remain the same with the top spot going to Charlie Collier, the 6-foot-4 post from Mont Belvieu, Texas, who has continued to add to her game. She’s a mobile and highly skilled post player. Holding strong at No. 2 is Christyn Williams, a 5-10 combo guard from Little Rock, Arkansas,
Rounding out the top five is Nalyssa Smith of Converse, Texas, and Honesty Scott-Grayson of Brick, New Jersey.
Meet The Top Five
#5
This is an exciting class, which will continue to draw much debate as any of the top 10 players can make a valid argument for the top spot. Potentially even more exciting is that we don’t know where this class is trending on the recruiting front as only three players in the top 50 have committed and six of the ELITE 100 have given verbals.
