Kaylan Pugh, the 5-foot-9 freshman guard, has her release and will be transferring out of Ohio State at the semester break. Pugh, of Collierville, Tenn., was ranked as the No. 26 propsect in the country in the 2015 class.
“Pugh developed into a capable primary scorer her senior year of high school,” ProspectsNation.com managing editor, Chris Hansen, said. “She is at her best attacking the paint off the dribble. She showed signs of it in limited minutes as a freshman.”
Pugh played in six games before requesting her transfer. She averaged 5.5 points and 2.8 rebounds in 12.5 minutes in those games. She posted her career highs of 18 points and 10 rebounds on November 22, against Wagner.
