Class of 2020 guard Loyal McQueen of Wilson HS (Florence, S.C.) chose North Carolina this weekend. McQueen visited campus unofficially last week.  – Brandon Clay

McQueen’s combination of speed and scoring ability give her a shot at making TarHeel fans compare her to some of the speedy guards who became household names in Chapel Hill over the past 20 years. She’s a Watch List guard nationally right now with the chance to play her way in the national discussion over the next 12-18 months. During the 2017-18 HS season, McQueen made noise in the state averaging almost 20 points per contest and leading her team to the state title game.


Brandon Clay serves as the WNBA Director of Scouting for and owns The International Report, which is picked up by more than 150 colleges and universities nationwide. He serves as the Executive Camp Director for the Elite Basketball Academy Camps.
