After making official visits to Georgetown, North Carolina State, and Texas Christian, class of 2018 forward Esra McGoldrick of New Zealand made a verbal commitment to join NC State. McGoldrick is ranked as the No. 11 prospect in the ELITE 25 for International prospects and becomes the 3rd prospect in the 2018 class to join the ACC program.
McGoldrick is a highly skilled forward who has the potential to bring versatility and flexibility to coach Wes Moore and his staff. She can play both forward positions and create match-up issues because of her size and ball-handling ability. McGoldrick, who is joining Elissa Cunane and Jada Rice as members of NC State's 2018 class, the trio should pair well with Cunane having the ability to face up and stretch the floor while Rice is a more traditional post. This combination gives the ACC program three versatile frontcourt players who can take advantage of match-ups and make an impact offensively.
#CommitmentCentral - In addition to a win. @Wolfpackwes and staff picked up a commitment from a top #IntELITE prospect Esra McGoldrick
