As colleges teams across the country get a break between conference tournaments and the beginning of the NCAA Tournament, in-home visits are seemingly non-stop.  Here’s a first coast-to-coast look at some of the news in the recruiting world.

The Marshall Plan

Natalija Marshall of Queens, New York, has two visitors heading to the Empire State this week. The 6-4 standout is being visited by two conference champions, Notre Dame and Stanford.  The Cardinal bested Oregon 64-57 to win the Pac-12 title while the Irish cruised past Louisville 99-79 to win the ACC.  Marshall is also considering Connecticut.

Texas Time Again

Sarah Andrews of Irving, Texas, both Baylor and Texas in her living room this week and Louisville is due in Tuesday. Andrews is an explosive point guard who carries a 5-star rating from ProspectsNation.com.

Hannah Gusters, the 6-5 post from Irving, Texas, Baylor and Connecticut in her home this week.  Her Pro Skills EYBL teammate Emani Jenkins of Dallas, Texas, received Arizona and Wichita State on Saturday.

Texas is a hot bed for talent again in 2018.  Deja Kelly of Duncanville, Texas, has been out west with visits to Oregon and one pending at Stanford.

Shay Holle, a 6-0 wing-forward from Austin, Texas, gave her verbal commitment to the cross-town Longhorns this winter.

“Holle is a slender-framed yet athletic option at the 4 right now,” Brandon Clay, JumpOffPlus.com Report owner, said.  “She’s got the bounce and leaping ability that Texas typically looks for in their swing forward. Holle has been impactful in my evals with her willingness to defend and rebound the ball. She will get out in transition well and finish on the break as well. Depending on the progression of her ball handling skill, Holle could potentially play either forward spot at the next level. In a class lacking depth at the hybrid position, securing an early verbal from a local Elite 100 prospect in Holle makes a lot of sense for the Longhorns.”

It's the Longhorns first commit in the class after Kelly re-opened her recruitment last year.
