Harris to Tennessee

Harris to Tennessee
#NationNews

For the last few months Tennessee has been in hot pursuit of three-star post Kamera Harris of Dutchtown, Ga., Thursday the Lady Vols landed their target.

A member of the class of 2016, Harris is a 6-foot-3 prospect who will bring depth to the line up of Tennessee coach Holly Warlick and her staff.  In addition to Tennessee, Harris considered Oregon, South Alabama and Massachusetts. Ultimately it was the Lady Vols who stayed in the mix the longest and landed their target.

Harris becomes the first member of the 2016 class to make a verbal pledge to the SEC school.  While she most likely won’t be asked to make a major impact right away, however her ability to block shots and act as a rim protector could allow her to see the floor later in her career.  Look for Tennessee to add at least one more player whether via Junior College transfer or the prep ranks.
