Linnae Harper will transfer to Ohio State for the spring semester. The Kentucky standout decided to transfer last month before the Wildcats played their first official game. She will sit out the remainder of this season and be eligible next season after the fall semester with two years of eligibility.
Harper, a 5-8 junior, averaged 11.4 points and 7.1 rebounds per game in 26.2 minutes per game as a sophomore. She chose Ohio State over DePaul and Tennessee.
Harper joins Kelsey Mitchell and fellow transfers Sierra Calhoun and Stephanie Mavunga as the fourth McDonald’s All-American on the Buckeyes roster. The roster is full with the addition of Harper after the departure of Kaylan Pugh.
