MARIETTA, Ga. – The second day of the Elite Basketball Academy’s underclass Fab Five Camp saw new faces standout in an event now in its eighth year.

Gabby Burris (Thurston, Ohio), Ohio Express-2017

There are several things that make coaches and scouts sit up and take notice. One of which is how a player approaches their workouts, whether it be skill work or actual game play. Gabby Burris was not only at every optional skill development session, but put in extra work before and after each session. This is a true sign of a player that wants to elevate her game. The 5-foot-10 forward brought energy to the game that was only matched by a few of her peers. Also impressive was the versatility of her game as she has the ability to handle the ball in the open court as a bigger wing player. Burris also has the capacity for playing with her back to the basket and showed that she has good touch out to 18 feet. We are looking forward to watching the development of her game.

Quanniesha Morrison (Riverdale, Ga.), Team Elite-2017

One of the most active players participating in the Fab Five Camp was Quanniesha Morrison. The 5-8 small forward is crafty with the basketball and can score in a multitude of ways, which is driven by her speed and quickness. She is a tenacious defender that comes up with a lot of steals, most of which turn into scoring opportunities. One of the things that sets her apart from most players is that she is a true scorer. Morrison can create her own shot with her superb ballhandling and her speed in transition. She has the potential of being that go-to player.
