The game was a contrast of two distinctly different teams as Oak Ridge sports a lineup chalk full of tall post players, many of whom hold Division I offers already, against a Miramonte whose tallest player is 5-11.  But on this day it was head coach Kelly Sopak's Miramonte squad that controlled the game with full court pressure and a fast pace.  Five Lady Mats players finished in double figures in the 75-48 win, lead by the 17 points from junior point guard Clair Steele.  As a team, Miramonte connected on 13 triples.

Player of the Game: Rebecca Welsh (Frosh), Miramonte -- 13 points, 11 in the first quarter to set the tone.

After falling behind 12-2 in the opening quarter, Eastside College Prep came roaring back behind a 20-6 second quarter to take a halftime lead it would not reliquish.  ECP was led by the 11 points of sophomore Zion Gabriel.
