The July evaluation periods are officially done for 2017 and it’s time to discuss the top 25 players in the 2020 class.  The rising sophomore class is led by a group of point guard prospects that all project at game changers.

No. 1 overall ranked Hailey Van Lith of Cashmere, Washington, draws comparison to this spring’s No. 1 overall pick in the WNBA draft, Kelsey Plum.  The left guard has a sweet stroke and a relentless approach to the game.  Furthermore she has been playing up against U17 competition with her NW Blazers Gauntlet team for two years now.

In kind, Sarah Andrews of Irving, Texas, is a point guard who is already battle tested against players several years her senior.  The 5-foot-7 lead guard is powerful with the ball and has a poise that will give her future coach all the confidence in the world in big games.

The run on point guards doesn’t stop at No. 2 as Paige Bueckers of St. Louis Park, Minnesota, and Caitlin Clark of West Des Moines, Iowa, also are five-star rated lead guards.  This pair of long crafty guards can flat out score the basketball at from the point position.

This class isn’t void of size though.  No. 5 Cameron Brink of Beaverton, Oregon, No. 6 Kylee Watson of Linwood, New Jersey, No. 9 Hannah Gusters of Desoto, Texas, and No. 14 Dalayah Daniels of Seattle, Washington, all bring elite size to the front court.
